Oragami Lesson

My friend Chris is doing her Vet residency in Florida, a million miles away... WELL, she was home for the weekend of January 22nd... I got a call from Tata telling me this on Thursday and I was outa work early on Friday to make it up to Mass (where Tata and Chris' mother live).

It was my SPONTANEOUS from my 300 things in 2010 list ... Last minute trip to Mass! We had dinner Friday night and hung out, played a few games at Tata's apt... It was so nice to hang out with my girls, the 3 musketeers back together ;-) That's what we were at camp... the 3 musketeers... I have very few memories of St Vartan Camp that do not involve one or the other... if not both! I love these girls.

Saturday morning Tata and I made ourselves breakfast and had some nice Stitch and Bitch time! She learned to Knit in one of her masters classes in college and now that I knit I told her we'll knit together so I can help her! It was fun... I'm not going to lie...

Tata mentioned she had read on my blog on the 300 in 2010 and saw I wanted to learn Origami... and it just so happens that my darling Tata is an origami master!

Me and Tata
I decided to make an elephant

It's getting there...

YAY!

me and my elephant!
All done!

Wen we decided to make a flower...

Tata said its very hard... which made me determined to learn!

Made for my grandma!

Tatas Flower!

After I left Tatas I sent my friend KK a text, I wasn't sure if she was home and up for a visitor, I figured she was on my way home... Well apparently she wasn't, but I didn't mind! And here's my OTHER spontaneous thing I did that weekend!

So I told her I'd be there in an hour and figured she'd make some tea... in one hour she made a WHOLE dinner! Roasted Chicken, yams, salad asparagus (which we forgot to eat) and garlic bread. It was awesome, plus it was awesome to see her!

Thats all! :-) It was an AWESOME weekend. I wouldn't have changed a thing...
