COOKIES GALORE!

Do you have a tradition of baking cookies during the holidays?

My friend Serena and I baked cookies together 2 years ago and had so much fun doing it we decided to do it again this year. For the 2 weeks before our bake date, we emailed back and forth ideas of cookies we wanted to bake.

We had so many ideas, so many cookies we thought we'd like.  We narrowed it down a bit, but made our final decision the day of.

We made double recipes of 4 kinds of cookies. That made a LOT.

We met up in Serena's kitchen with pounds of butter and flour and sugar... and of course containers to take them home in (or in her case... leave them home in).  There was an incident where the dog ate some unbaked cookies... but otherwise it was a fun time.
