It amuses me how big the "news years resolution" is. Just because you say, "I'm going to do this-- this year" do not mean you will. It actually means you want to do it but probably won't.
I don't make resolutions. I haven't for years. My thinking is that if there is something you want to change about yourself badly enough, you will. But you will when its convenient to you. Not on January 1, 20xx.
Every year, for years, throughout the year, I make changes in my self. Things I want to better, things I want to do, see etc. I don't think that its necessary to make a rule and then feel bad about your self in 2 weeks when you fail, or forget the goal in the first place. I think we should all be constantly bettering ourselves.
