2012 goals

2011 was the year I turned 30 and made a list of things, half of which were financially impossible (at least for a financially responsible young lady), but 2012 will be different.  I like having a list of things I want to accomplish in the year, I'm someone that likes having goals. If I have goals, I try harder.

In this last year, I've discovered that I love when someone tells me I cannot do something. It means I will do it because I am too stubborn to fail. That being said, I hope I have compiled a list of things that will be easier for me to accomplish than my last one.

  1. Make running an everyday part of my life
  2. Learn Yoga
  3. Take a dance class, something latin
  4. Explore the Connecticut wine trails
  5. Ice Skate in NYC
  6. Go Indoor Rock Climbing
  7. Go to a Country bar and learn at least one line dance
  8. Go Karting
  9. Do some form of fine art, once a month
  10. Finish my April Half marathon with a better time than my 2010 one
  11. Learn to shoot a gun
  12. Go horseback riding.

  1. I love it!! Also, your list of 30 things at age 30 inspired me. I will put together a list of 25 things I want to do, at 25 this year. Yes, I like the word "goals" (resolutions can be broken... goals are something to aspire to do).

    Your cousin,

  2. Do it Lizik!
Its fun making lists, it can be anything at all... even something as simple has "make my bed every morning" - Mini goals mixed with some bigger ones makes life better! =)

  3. Count me in for 2, 3, 7, and 11...

  4. Krystle, We'll have to go together for shooting lessons! I'll definitely keep you updated on the others too!
